The paper used to make this decorative tile comes from the bark of a sustainably harvested Himalayan shrub called lokta. The tile comes with it's own lokta paper-board easel for table top display. The tile also has a string hanger at the back so it can be hung on a wall. This tile features a Tibetan waterbird. The swan and the goose are collectively known as ÏHamsa,Ó representing discriminating wisdom and the ability to dissolve the selfless ego into the formless absolute. These wisdom water birds linger amid the leaves of the lotus, a symbol of absolute purity. (6''sq. w/ 6'' stand)
